Wie kann man einen unbekannten Ort erforschen? Welche Impressionen sammelt man und welche Besonderheiten bietet das Unbekannte? Das Ergebnis einer Spurensuche zeigt die Arbeit ,Reibung`, welche im Rahmen einer einwöchigen Exkursion in Worpswede entstand. Zentral im Fokus stehen die intensiven Natureindrücke der Moorlandschaft und die vor Ort gefundenen Naturmaterialien. Die ungeplant entstandene Sammlung aus Blättern, Halmen, Blüten, Erden und Steinen wurde zunächst zufällig auf den Stoff fallen gelassen und mittels eines Steines zerrieben. Das im Vorfeld ausgewählte Material Stoff bündelt all diese Farbnuancen und unterliegt ebenfalls der Materialforschung und der intensiven mechanischen Reibung. Bietet ,Reibung´ einen Wiedererkennungswert der Landschaft? Und welche Farbstrukturen wären wohl bei anderen Landschaften möglich?

How can you explore an unknown place? What impressions do you collect and what special features does the unknown offer? The result of a search for traces shows the work "Friction", which was created during a one-week excursion in Worpswede. The focus is on the intense nature impressions of the moorland landscape and the natural materials found on site. The unplanned collection of leaves, stems, flowers, earth and stones was first accidentally dropped on the fabric and crushed with a stone. The material selected in advance combines all these colour nuances and is also subject to material research and intensive mechanical friction. Does 'friction' offer a recognisable value of the landscape? And what color structures would be possible in other landscapes?
