Workshop + Ausstellung zum Thema Urban Forest

Das Projekt zeigt ein kollektives Herantasten und Ergründen der Analogie zwischen Pionierpflanzen im Wald und der Pioniergruppe in der Gentrifizierung. Im Rahmen einer eintägigen Co-Kreativen Werkstatt setzen sich acht geladene Kunststudierende ihrem eigenen Pionier-Dasein und mit einem Tisch voller Pionierpflanzen auseinander. Wo liegen in der Gesellschaft die Unterschiede zu ökologischen Waldstrukturen? An welchen Stellen ist es wichtig und richtig, das Waldökosystem und die Rolle der Pionierpflanze als Vorbild zu sehen? Und an welchen Stellen ist es das nicht? Mit Augenmerk auf Selbstidentifikation, Empowerment und der eigenen gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung entstehen sieben Briefe an die Pflanzen, Diskussionen und viele Fragen sowie fünf Stegreifarbeiten aus Ton, Kohle, Wolle und Wachs.

Workshop + exhibition on the topic of Urban Forest

The project shows a collective approach and exploration of the analogy between pioneer plants in the forest and the pioneer group in gentrification. As part of a one-day co-creative workshop, eight invited art students explore a table full of pioneer plants and their own pioneer existence. What makes the difference between ecological forest structures and society? At what points is it important and correct to see (or not to see?) the forest ecosystem and the role of the pioneer plant as a role model? With a focus on self-identification, empowerment and their own social responsibility, seven letters to the plants, discussions and many questions were created, as well as five impromptu works made of clay, charcoal, wool and wax.
