J. Allan Hobson beschreibt die Hauptmerkmale von Träumen wie folgt: Verlust der selbstreflektierten Selbstwahrnehmung, Verlust der Orientierung, ungerichtetes Denken sowie Erinnerungsverlust. Mich fasziniert die Vorstellung, sich des Träumens bewusst zu werden und durch den Traum zu wandern und zu beobachten, welche Bilder das Gehirn erschafft. Der Text reiht Assoziationen aneinander, die ebenso wie die Illustrationen aus Träumen, aus der wachen Realität und aus Videospielen gesammelt und vermischt wurden. Text und Bild funktionieren sowohl für sich alleine, als auch als Einheit.

J. Allan Hobson describes the main characteristics of dreams as follows: loss of self-reflective self-awareness, loss of orientation, undirected thinking and loss of memory. I am fascinated by the idea of becoming aware of dreaming and wandering through the dream and observing what images the brain creates. The text strings together associations that, like the illustrations, were collected and mixed from dreams, from waking reality and from video games. Text and images work both on their own and in combination.
